PES Amazonian spores are some of the most sought-after psilocybe cubensis magic mushrooms. These spores are originally from a high-performing strain of Pacifica Exotica Spora. PES Amazonian is known for fruiting very large mushrooms in the wild, typically with a thick stem.
PES Amazonian mushrooms produce spores that are dark purplish-brown. The dense fruits have a deep blue coloring upon cutting. The cap is in proportion to its thick stem and turns a caramel color at maturity.
Contaminant Resistant
The strain was first discovered over 40 years ago. As the name suggests, PES Amazonian originates within the Amazonian rain forest. The long, thick stems—when at maturity in the wild—enable this mushroom to absorb nutrients and better distribute its spores.
The biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest helped enable this strain to become contaminant resistant. Since the spores are not likely to become contaminated when placed on a microscopic slide, this strain is considered a good choice for beginners in microscopy. It also performs well in cooler temperatures for year-round research.
About Blue Stem Spores
One of our goals is to increase awareness of the beauty and magic of mushrooms when studied under the microscope. We provide resources and supplies to explore the fascinating world of mushrooms and the many important benefits that fungi provide. A beginner microscopist will find studying a spore strain like PES Amazonian relatively easy. This strain is recommended for people who are developing their microscopy skills as it doesn’t pose some of the challenges found in more advanced strains.
We produce PES Amazonian mushroom spores in a laboratory-grade environment under a laminar flow hood with a HEPA filter to provide you with the highest quality spores available. We rigorously test all of our spore syringes before they are shipped to ensure they are viable. Mushroom spores are legal in most of the United States when used for research purposes. Our online sales of spores are for microscopy and taxonomy purposes. We will nevertheless package and ship your PES Amazonian mushroom spores discreetly.
